DESCRIPTION

This fabulous single-day trip will impress even experienced tourists!

You will be able to really feel the spirit of California, try the freshest ocean fish, enjoy the healthful sea air and watch the incredibly beautiful views.

Tour program:

During this tour you will see the beautiful cities of Northern California — Monterey and Carmel. Two hours after the leaving San Francisco you will notice the road turning to the shore that means you are at the entrance to the bay (and the city) of Monterey. The smallest capital of California will definitely please you with its old Spanish colonial architecture, wonderful pier and famous “Cannery Row” – street that is fully occupied by factories for fish canning caught here. Besides this, you can optionally visit one of the largest aquariums in the United States, where you can see unusual and exotic marine animals, such as giant octopus, sea otters and seahorses.

After this, we will go to Carmel – tiny and picturesque town on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Town with the population of 8,000 people consists of hundreds of art galleries, unique shops and open air restaurants, located on the border with white sand beaches. A lot of former Hollywood stars live in Carmel and Clint Eastwood was a Honorary Mayor of the town. During the Spanish period “San Carlos” Catholic Mission was founded here, which Franciscan monk Junipero Sierra, the founder of the California mission, lived in.
