Nieuw Statendam is a unique cruise ship with the world's only art gallery on the water.
The interior of this ship is made in a classic style with large and bright cabins. The designers of Nieuw Statendam are two world famous design companies - Y&S (Yran & Storbraaten / based in Norway) and Tihany Design (based in New York USA). The total number of cabins is 1331 (including 164 suites, 748 balconies, 147 Oceanview, 280 interior rooms) and 35 different categories of which 27 cabins for the disabled.
Nieuw Statendam crosses the Atlantic Ocean from Rome to Fort Lauderdale for its first winter season in the Caribbean. Nieuw Statendam will spend the 2018-19 winter season operating from Ft. Lauderdale 3-4-7-10 day Caribbean cruises. She then returns to Europe in April 2019 to sail Mediterranean cruises to Northern Europe and Norway before returning to Fort Lauderdale in late October for a second season in the Caribbean to the sea.
